Shiri Lavy

Postdoc i Afdeling for Pædagogisk sociologi. Per 15/3/25. Campus Aarhus

I am an organizational psychologist and education researcher, and have studied well-being (broadly construed) and personal development.  My study topics include, for example, relationships, sense of meaning, competencies’ and strengths’ development. In my studies, I incorporate a holistic, multi-dimensional view, often examining processes at multiple levels, for example at the individual, dyad, class, and school levels.

I have shared my research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, policy papers, keynotes and invited talks, and have served the research community as CO-Editor of the Journal of Happiness Studies, a Review Editor in Frontiers in Psychology, a member of the leadership team of the International Positive Psychology Association Education Division etc.

I am happy to join DPU, and will be part of the YoungEqual and REVERS-ED projects, where I hope to incorporate multi-level exploration of the effects of COVID-19 and explore paths for decreasing inequalities in well-being and achievement.
