Come and help break a bottle of wine over the book Death of the Public University? Uncertain Futures for Higher Education in the Knowledge Economy (Berghahn Books 2017) and launch it into the world.

The book arises from the four-year, EU-funded knowledge exchange project ‘University Reform, Globalisation and Europeanisation’ (URGE) between DPU, Aarhus University and Auckland and Bristol Universities. The project funded 11 DPU colleagues to stay at Auckland University, 6 collaborative workshops and a conference.

The argument in the book arose from these interactions and authors and project participants will reflect on their chapters and their experiences on the project.
